Lyon Gestapo HQ
In June 1943, the Lyon Gestapo moved its headquarters from Terminus hotel to a former military academy. The Headquarter was abandoned after being badly damaged by an American bombing raid in late May 1944. Until the liberation of Lyon in September 1944, the Gestapo had its headquarters in Place Bellecour, Lyon.
Current status: Preserved with museum (2012).
