Dresden – RAW

In september 1944 a satellite camp to Flossenburg was set up in Dresden – Friedrichstadt (RAW, German Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk). Until the bombing of Dresden on 13 and 14 February 1945, about 500 prisoners were forced to perform slave labor for the German war production.

Current status: Demolished with monument (2012).

Address: Emerich-Ambros-Ufer 50, 01159 Dresden.

Get there: Car.

My comment:

There were thousands of camps like this, most of which were set up in 1944. The information about them varies, but most disappear in the amount of camps whose physical remains are no longer there.
