Bromberg-Ost

In September 1944, a satellite camp for Stutthof was established in Bydgoszcz (german Bromberg) called Bromberg-Ost. Prisoners were forced to work in nearby industries. The camp was guarded by female SS officers and several of them were brought to justice after the war.

Current status: Demolished (2010).

Location: 53°07'42.47" N 18°04'17.09" E

Get there: Car.

My comment:

Nowadays, there are various industries in the former camp area that have been established after the war and what are possible remains of the camp can be difficult to know. But most likely, the poles that are along the premises are a remnant of the camp.
