In September 1944, a satellite camp for Stutthof was established in Bydgoszcz (german Bromberg) called Bromberg-Ost. Prisoners were forced to work in nearby industries. The camp was guarded by female SS officers and several of them were brought to justice after the war.

Nowadays, there are various postwar industries at the former camp area and hardly any of these buildings are remnants of the camp. But most likely, the poles along the premises are a remnant of the camp.
