Bromberg-Ost

In September 1944, a satellite camp for Stutthof was established in Bydgoszcz (german Bromberg) called Bromberg-Ost. Prisoners were forced to work in nearby industries. The camp was guarded by female SS officers and several of them were brought to justice after the war.

Current status: Demolished (2010).

Location: 53°07'42.47" N 18°04'17.09" E

Get there: Car.

My comment:

Nowadays, there are various postwar industries at the former camp area and hardly any of these buildings are remnants of the camp. But most likely, the poles along the premises are a remnant of the camp.
