Around Christmas 1942, the Jewish resistance movement (ZOB), in cooperation with communist partisans, carried out a bombing against Cyganeria cafe in central Krakow. The cafe was a popular place for German officers and at least eleven Germans were killed in the bombing The attackers were later captured and executed.
Current status: Demolished with memorial tablet (2013).

The cafe is no longer there, but in 2013 there was a small shop and a music club in the building. The tablet mentions that the attack was carried out the night between December 24 and 25, but the data when the attack took place and how many were killed varies depending on the source.
